About Us
As a leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, we are one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks, offering a broad range of products, including Liability, Financial Lines, Property, Global Specialty, Crop Risk Services, Personal Lines and Accident and Health.
But as a leader, it is also important to us to help the world overcome some of the biggest challenges it has ever faced. From tackling climate change to creating more diverse, inclusive workforces, we are proud to not just be part of the solution, but to be a global leader for positive change in the communities that we serve.
We’re also committed to doing the right thing for our people and the communities where we work and live. It’s why we seek to offer what matters to our ever-diversifying team - like flexible and creative work environments, professional growth opportunities and forums to advocate for one another and incite change. We encourage employees to give back to the causes they care most about, supporting these efforts through our Volunteer Time Off and Matching Grants Programs.
Get to know the business

Every day will bring new opportunities to stretch your analytical and problem- solving skills as you improve how we predict and mitigate risk. Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIG’s major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Portfolio Analytics and Pricing Actuaries support AIG’s businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement. They collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Financial Management.
About the role
AIG’s summer interns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge during the 10-week program. As a summer intern you will work side-by-side with industry leaders on dynamic projects, with ample opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement.
After initial orientation and training, summer interns will join one of our business lines, which offer a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse and global environment. In addition to the experience acquired on the job, summer interns have the opportunity to hear directly from senior management, and participate in webinars, discussion forums and networking receptions.
Upon finishing the internship, you may be considered for a full-time analyst role beginning summer of 2025.
