As an Administrative Assistant in ICW Group’s Claims department, you are an important part of our team! You are professional, personable and love being part of a team, but also take great pride in your ability to be task-oriented and getting the job done independently! Using your impeccable attention to detail, you are able to multitask and effectively manage your day to tackle your daily tasks including:
Perform administrative support associated with business operations including sending eCards to new customers, running reports, data/record collection and following up on critical tasks.
Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls then notifies appropriate personnel.
Open, sort, prioritize and distribute mail.
Respond to general inquiries concerning area activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules appointments and completes travel or conference arrangements including maintaining personal calendar for assigned personnel.
May create, maintain, and update various information databases.
Collects and verifies data, and prepares and updates recurring and routine reports.
Refers problems to management for resolution.
Establishes and maintains record keeping and filing systems.
Classifies, sorts and files correspondence, records and other documents.
High school diploma or GED required.
Our ideal candidate will possess experience in a corporate work environment in an administrative or clerical role.
Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook (MS Office application) experience necessary.
Strong customer service, organizational skills and phone acumen required.
Keen attention to detail as well as basic math skills.
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
Ability to effectively present information to coworkers and supervisors on a one-on-one basis.
