As an Administrative Assistant in the Legal Department, you are a key resource in moving our team forward. We are looking for someone who enjoys an encouraging administrative role, and has experience or interest in gaining experience assisting with rate, rule and form filings and agency licensing. We need someone who will take initiative and enjoys troubleshooting issues, because you like to tackle a good problem, you first try to figure out what the issues are, and you also know your own limits and you are not afraid to seek help and/or mentorship when needed to lead you to the right path for the solution. Every single day offers new challenges for you to pursue, including: Handling basic administrative tasks, such as:
Provide administrative support to our Legal Department, specifically rate, rule, form filings and agency licensing.
Running reports and providing them to the management team.
Organize workload to align with deadlines and priorities.
Work independently to complete routine department or unit functions,
Prepare routine correspondence, reports, forms for review by Management.
Carry out special projects and assignments as requested;
Compile, analyze and prepare data for administrative reports and presentations.
Resolve issues requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures.
Educational background and experience that will help you succeed in this role:
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
3+ years’ experience in administrative assignments supporting department and/or regional management employees; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced skills in PC based software applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Willingness, desire and aptitude to learn new programs/applications which will allow you to maintain databases and configure tables.
Ability to resolve and respond to conflicting priorities.
Strong, validated discernment and decision-making skills.
