As a Corporate Services Technician at the ICW Group, you will provide office support by maintaining an efficient mailroom and supply area. Ensures all incoming and outgoing mail is processed timely and accurately. Provides office support through file storage and retrieval. Assists with ergonomic and furniture requests. Assists with shipping and receiving. Assumes responsibility of front desk operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide office support to the Enterprise • Pulls, files, and drops files as requested. • Pulls old files for destruction and make list of policy numbers. • Provides back up to the Corporate Services department as needed. • Transfers storage boxes from/to departments and storage, sometimes picking up 75-100 boxes at a time. • Pulls files from off-site for review by Home Office departments. • Pulls old boxes from offsite for destruction. • Lifts office furniture onto dollies and move furniture to storage or new work areas as needed. • Installs keyboard trays and pencil drawers as needed. • Assists furniture installer with ergonomic requests. • Assists with shipping and with deliveries (supplies, cases of paper, equipment, etc.), using a supply cart or a dolly. • Uses Microsoft Access Programs for box retrieval, box location and data inputting, key locating, and managing inventory of Home Office boxes. • Coordinates pick-up schedule with recycling company as needed for shredding services. Ensures all incoming and outgoing mail is processed timely and accurately • Processes incoming and outgoing U.S. mail, certified mail, certificates of mailing, overnight courier mail, and Airborne/ Fed Ex shipments. • Opens incoming U.S. mail addressed to the Company and send to appropriate department. • Prepares pouch for delivery, complete and maintain presort service receipts, and keep daily postage records. • Receives overnight courier shipments, maintains log and arrange for pickup from departments. • Ensures Pitney Bowes equipment is up and running and checks meter tape and water levels daily. • Cross trains to back up other areas as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Working knowledge and ability of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
