The Claims Operations Intern will gain an understanding of the insurance claims process, assist in bring normalcy back to the lives of our customers, learn about claims preparation for natural catastrophes and how it differs from day-to-day claims handling, and learn about the customer experience. The intern will gain first-hand experience through an assigned summer project and presentation of the finding to the executive team. Examples include exploration of benefits of using recent technology or tools to the claims handling process, cost/benefit associated with workflow improvement, and analysis of data to identify ways to improve the customer experience.
Students should have completed their junior year in college by the Summer of 2019. We highly encourage candidates to have background in claims handling.
