Advisory Council
The Advisory Council consist of Sustaining Partner Companies
The Advisory Council help leads the strategic direction of Gamma Iota Sigma to grow and sustain a robust and diverse student talent pipeline, ensuring the industry's vibrant future.
Duties and responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the insurance team to ensure efficient operation of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email. General administrative work and helping with policy renewals, quotes, and current client maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Issue certificates of insurance & auto ID cards
Process endorsement requests
Assist in creating proposals and presentations
Prepare and monitor invoices
Maintain ongoing communication with clients and their underwriters to insure a high level of customer service
Preparing and reviewing insurance applications
Order loss runs
Request Premium Finance Quotes from the Accounting Team
Checking proposal forms
Checking and delivering policies
Keeping insurance filing and database system up to date (Applied Epic)
Sending letters and emails
Conducts research; compiles information for Account Managers and Account Executives
Maintain insurance CE requirements
Participate in off-site carrier and client meeting as required.
Participation in local insurance associations encouraged
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficient in MS Office
Education & Licensing Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Home State P&C Insurance License a plus, will be expected to earn license within first 12 months of employment
