Candidates must hold, or be about to receive, a doctorate in actuarial science, finance or a related field, at the time of employment. Holding or being in the process of obtaining an Associate or Fellow title of a North American actuarial association is an asset. As teaching is in French, the successful candidate must have or acquire both oral and written skills in French. Université Laval offers non-francophone professors language training for achieving the necessary level of competency in French.
