Job Summary: Under light supervision or direction, the intern will be responsible for installing, relocating, maintaining and supporting end user computing hardware and software such as PC, mobility devices, printers, telephones, and productivity tools such as Microsoft office suite.
The job responsibilities include: installing PC's and related hardware and software, investigating hardware and software problems and performing minor repairs, providing support to clients on software and hardware platforms, performing basic diagnostic testing and resolving problems or escalating as defined in operating procedures, working on assigned tasks in ticketing system to complete end user tickets.
Technical Qualifications: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Office 365, Automated workstation build, Application distribution technologies, Anti-virus software, mobile devices, Remote access (Citrix, VPN).
General Qualifications: Strong Customer Service, Strong oral communication skills, Effective Time Management, Knowledge of Telecommunications Systems, Experience with on-boarding and off-boarding, and Schooling in IT related field.
Intern should be currently active in or completing a degree program in an IT related field
