The Accounting Rotational Business Associate (ARBA) program is a two-year rotational program designed to prepare highly talented Accounting and Finance graduates for leadership roles in Corporate Finance. The program offers hands-on training in a variety of financial disciplines. The ARBA Program has been an integral part of CNA for over 30 years. Graduates of the program hold a variety of positions throughout the organization, including numerous senior leadership roles.
This program is approximately two years in duration and includes two to four rotations in areas such as:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Enterprise Risk Management
Each one of the assignments will be an integral part of that area’s function and activities. The employee will report to an experienced manager and work in a team of other CNA Finance staff, many of whom have previously been part of the ARBA program. CNA has an established ARBA Program Committee to support the development of ARBA’s, as well as setting expectations and requirements of the program. Each ARBA will gain a broad portfolio of skills, competencies, and knowledge.
In addition to the on-the-job training received during each assignment, each ARBA participates in classroom training specifically developed for the program on insurance accounting and reporting and CNA’s specific accounting and reporting methodologies.
